Brooke Bownes is an accredited trauma coach, therapist, global No.1 bestselling author and speaker. She works with businesswomen who struggle with feeling stuck and beliefs that are holding them back, helping them find their power, confidence and release any limiting beliefs, so they can lead themselves and others.

Brooke describes herself as "an introvert that discovered how to rewire my mind & regulate my nervous system, release my beliefs that held me back so I could achieve my dreams & now I help people do the same. I can hand on heart say ‘I know it can be done, I have walked in similar shoes to yours, I have felt your fears, I have been frustrated by my outdated beliefs."

15: Leadership Change From The Inside Out
Violet Meyer believes most organisations have misdiagnosed burnout, and that misdiagnosis is why every intervention keeps failing.
Most organisations believe they have a burnout problem.
Today’s guest believes they’ve misdiagnosed it, and that misdiagnosis is exactly why every intervention keeps failing.
Violet Meyer spent a decade in progressive management career before she burnout in 2017, experienced chronic fatigue from 2020, and spent years rebuilding her own health that directly shaped The C.H.A.N.G.E Method and fuelled her path to becoming a Chronic pain and Fascia specialist.
She spent six years treating hundreds of high-performing professionals and discovering the same thing every time — burnout and chronic pain are not two separate problems to be managed in leadership. They are the same, the body and nervous system, being systematically misread by the organisations responsible for the people experiencing them.
Her argument is direct, evidence-based, and the data is catching up with it fast.
Our conversation delves deeper into the misdiagnosis of burnout and the impact of fascia on chronic pain. Violet's framework for recovery and its application in organisations is explored, along with practical tips for managing burnout. The importance of connection and peace is highlighted as key takeaways from the discussion.

Creating a Culture of Belonging - The Barefoot Mediator Podcast
I explore belonging and connection in a digital world and share the A Frame Concept for engaging teams and increasing performance.
Why do so many people feel disconnected at work? And what can leaders actually do about it?
In this episode with The Barefoot Mediator Podcast, I explore the topic of belonging and connection in a digital age — and introduce something I call the A Frame Concept. It is a practical framework designed to help leaders engage their teams, drive inclusion and increase performance in a world where staying connected has never felt harder.
With over two decades of experience in executive recruitment, leadership and inclusion, I believe that belonging and engagement are not nice-to-haves — they are the foundation of everything. When leaders get this right, the results are real: greater productivity, stronger retention and a culture where people can bring their best selves to work.

What can 500 miles on the Camino de Santiago teach you about life? More than you might expect.

Elif Köse with Jackie Handy | Creating space for everyone in business
I share both sides of inclusion, my DEI expertise and why conscious inclusion helps every person feel safe, valued and understood.
I have seen inclusion from both sides — and that changes everything about how you approach it.
In this episode with Elif Köse, I share my personal experience of exclusion and how it shaped my mission as a DEI specialist, TEDx speaker, consultant, trainer and author of The Little Book of Belonging. I explore what it truly means to be consciously inclusive and why it is not enough to simply want to do better — leaders need to think and act differently.
When that happens, the rewards are real: a workforce that is true to themselves, motivated and successful; a diverse talent pipeline; and stronger brand positioning. Inclusion is not just the right thing to do — it is good business.
